Ivan Gunawan

Ivan Gunawan is a professional and high profile in Indonesia fashion world. Ivan used to be the mentor of Jovian Mandagie when Jovian himself was new in the fashion world. Ivan just launch his new menswear and womenwear collection at Indonesia Fashion night 2013 in Jakarta. Ivan stun everybody with his new collection "The journey to Mandala" or Malolo. His famous quotes that inspired oversize people in the world of fashion, "doesn't matter if you a bigger sizes but still you can be a fashionable at a reasonable style". Ivan Gunawan has inspired a lot of other fashion designer with his collection.

Giorgio Armani

Giorgio Armani is an italian fashion design which particularly with his menswesr ready to wear collection. Giorgio is well know with his fine tailoring. He started to form a company of his in 2001.

While his designs were popular in Europe, Armani didn't make a big splash in America until 1980. His clothes were worn by actor Richard Gere in the film American Gigolo, which helped generate a lot of interest in Armani. He also provided much of the wardrobe for the hit television series Miami Vice, starring Don Johnson.

Rizalman Ibrahim

            

Beside Jovian Mandagie, Rizalman Ibrahim is also well known with couture fashion and ready to wear  collection. Both of them is a well know and high profile fashion designer in Malaysia and highly talented. Rizalman Ibrabim is more to ready to wear fashion. Most of his collection is more to muslimah and a litte bit sense of touch from the european dress and modern "baju kurung" look. His expertise in wedding dress where he design the wedding dress of Maurian Counter for her wedding which make him well known in the industry for wedding dress designing

This is one of his famous collection called the " Puteh" which symbolize as the muslimah looking of Audrey Hepburn in the late 90s.

Jovian Mandagie

He is just 27 but Jovian Mandagie is an extraordinary designer who has notched up quite a reputation for himself. His line of couture designs has attract a lot of big name celebrities like, legendary Anita Sarawak, veteran singer Dato Siti Nurhaliza and the list goes on. He also presenting his collection at the inaugural Islamic Fashion Festival held in Dubai and graced by the Queen of Malaysia Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah who was herself dressed in a Jovian Mandagie. A good head start for him was when he worked with Ivan Gunawan, a well–known designer and TV presenter in Jakarta, Indonesia. During his three months internship,Jovian who passed over an offer of working as an intern with Laura Ashley in London in his fifth semester at Limkowing University. Jovian’s major breakthrough in the fashion arena materialized in Jakarta, 2006 when he designed for ‘Ratu’. In the same year, he made his Malaysian debut at Astro’s Anugerah Era 2006 where his ‘Leather and Denim’ themed collection were worn by Ning Baizura, one of Malaysia’s popular singers and Kudsia Kahar, General Manager of AMP Network.

Jovian highest achievement as a fashion designer is when he won the best fashion designer of the year in 2013 at the Mercedes Benz Stylo night. His colobration with Lisa Suriahani collection is the hotest ready to wear collection to be grab at his J store in Bangsar. One of his popular muslimah collection is the J hijab. Lastly, during this year of holy Ramadhan he dressed up the royal family of Brunei for the up coming Raya celebration. He is one of my inspiration in fashion world.

Fairuz Ramdan

Vintage and classic menswear is a trending fashion in Malaysia. The famous designer who is well know with his vintage and classic collection and ready to wear is Fairuz Ramdan. He is the Excutive Committee Members of Bumiputra  Designer Association. Needless to say, his collection is classical, realistic but with a touch of eccentricity as we could see in the photo below.

His new ready to wear collection, Fairuz Ramdan for Parkson also base on vintage and classic. Harrods teddy bear is a symbolice as his collection trademark.
